From around the world, a diverse and highly innovative group of academicians, scientists, engineers, post-doctoral associates, graduate students, and business leaders will converge at LabAutomaton2009. The show will be held on 24-28 January 2009, at the Palm Springs Convention Centre, Palm Springs, California.

LabAutomation2009 is a five-day event focused exclusively on the rapidly growing field of laboratory automation. At this premier event some 5,000 laboratory automation scientists and business leaders from around the globe will again come together to network and benefit from leading education, information, strategies and technologies – all in one place, at one time.

The programme consists of:

  • Plenary speaker series

Three outstanding plenary speakers, who each offer their own compelling discussion and view point, will present at the show.

  • A short course programme

On 24-25 January 2009, short courses designed to provide a rapid introduction to topics, issues, and techniques related to the laboratory automation issues faced on a daily basis will be available. Short courses are taught by world-renowned instructors.

  • Scientific programme and poster programme

On 25-28 January 2009, the world’s top 100 scientific presentations on laboratory automation topics and technology, as well as a comprehensive poster program, will be available for viewing.

  • Industry sponsored workshop

On 26-27 January 2009, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of ninety-minute workshops hosted by exhibitors. Sessions address the unique issues, challenges, and possible solutions within laboratory automation.
