Sirius Analytical and Paraytec enter into development and technology licensing agreement

Sirius Analytical Instruments Ltd and Paraytec Ltd announce today that they have entered into a development and licensing agreement that will give Sirius Analytical exclusive rights to develop, manufacture and sell ActiPixTM UV area imaging technology in specific fields of use related to applications based upon dissolution from a surface using imaging techniques and the determination of concentration gradients.

Sirius Analytical are the leaders in instrumentation and services for the determination of physicochemical properties. Sirius Analytical’s instrumentation is the most reliable and advanced in the market and is routinely used within the industry for physicochemical property determination. The most recent introduction, the SiriusT3, is a fully automated system for rapid and accurate measurement of physicochemical properties using small, often sub-milligram, quantities of material.

Paraytec Ltd develops and distributes instrumentation for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications based on its patented ActiPix™ technology, a 2-dimensional platform for ultra-violet (UV) absorbance measurement, using capillaries and flow cells in conjunction with optics and active pixel area sensors.
