ICSE is now seven years old, and from fairly modest beginnings it is now a major event which has a sizeable presence next to CPhI Worldwide; the market-leading fine chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients exhibition. Together with P-MEC, the Pharmaceutical Machinery and Equipment Convention, this tripartite of events have attracted increasing numbers of visitors each year and now has an audience in excess of 22,000 pharmaceutical professionals. A specific indicator of the importance of contract services within this event colossus is the news that visitor numbers to ICSE alone doubled year on year in 2006.
