Greenphire, the industry leading provider of clinical payment and communication technology solutions, will showcase its ground breaking clinical payment solutions including ClinCard, an automated payment and communications system and its new ClinicalGPS technology at the annual DIA 2011 symposium in Chicago, Illinois, June 19th to 23rd. To find out more, visit the company at booth #231 at DIA 2011.

Despite the fact that a significant proportion of the adult American population does not possess a bank account, clinical trial sponsors have relied upon costly and time consuming paper checks for subject payment.

Greenphire offers a cost effective, easy-to-use alternative to these traditional paper-based payment methods, promoting recruitment and aiding subject retention both through efficient delivery of funds and the associated execution of study specific subject messaging programs.

This web-based payment and communication platform eliminates the need for paper checks by introducing prepaid debit card technology and manual reporting of fund disbursement while reducing the site’s cash flow burden.

The system can be configured to automatically pay participants based on a study specific schedule, make one time ad-hoc payments, or add funds remotely. Consequently subjects have faster access to funds and positive study behavior is enforced.

At DIA 2011 Greenphire will also be unveiling its latest advancement for clinical physician payments, centralizing all payment procedures for clinical trials using a proprietary validation engine, assisting clinical sponsors to conform to transparency provisions of the recently passed Affordable Care Act. The efficient payment system will assist clinical sponsors in conforming to new regulations by providing detailed reporting at the site, investigator and vendor level.
