How to contribute
Every issue of European Pharmaceutical Review contains the highest quality articles from leading sources, recognised for their expertise within specific areas of late-stage drug development, scale up and manufacturing. All of our articles are commissioned directly from the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions.
If you have read our publishing schedule or a recent issue of European Pharmaceutical Review and feel that you can match the standard of editorial and have an interesting project, opinion or background to share with our readers, please contact Ian Betteridge.
Notes for authors
Language
Articles should be written in the English language.
Content
The article should be science-led and not have a commercial bias. Only refer to individual products/processes if it is essential to support the technical content of the text. The piece should not have a patient focus.
Word count
Unless stated otherwise, your article should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words in length, not including captions or references.
References
Please include references in Vancouver style (max 10 references), numbered throughout the article and fully listed at the end of the article.
Images, graphs and tables
Any images/photos/graphics to illustrate the article must be high resolution: at least 300 dpi and saved in either a JPEG or TIFF format as separate files, not embedded in a MS Word document or similar. Please confirm copyright permissions in your submission.
Author’s biography & photograph
Please supply a brief biography (50-80 words long) and high resolution (at least 300 dpi) photograph of the author(s) as separate files to accompany the article.
Editing
The publisher reserves the right to edit any article if necessary, whilst retaining its context.
We are not a peer-reviewed publication.
Once the article has been received by us, it is not our standard practice to send a proof back to the author prior to publication.
