If you have read our publishing schedule or a recent issue of European Pharmaceutical Review and feel that you can match the standard of editorial and have an interesting project, opinion or background to share with our readers, please contact Ian Betteridge

Notes for authors

Language

Articles should be written in the English language.

Content

The article should be science-led and not have a commercial bias. Only refer to individual products/processes if it is essential to support the technical content of the text. The piece should not have a patient focus.

Word count

Unless stated otherwise, your article should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words in length, not including captions or references.

References

Please include references in Vancouver style (max 10 references), numbered throughout the article and fully listed at the end of the article.

Images, graphs and tables

Any images/photos/graphics to illustrate the article must be high resolution: at least 300 dpi and saved in either a JPEG or TIFF format as separate files, not embedded in a MS Word document or similar. Please confirm copyright permissions in your submission.

Author’s biography & photograph

Please supply a brief biography (50-80 words long) and high resolution (at least 300 dpi) photograph of the author(s) as separate files to accompany the article.

Editing

The publisher reserves the right to edit any article if necessary, whilst retaining its context.

We are not a peer-reviewed publication.

Once the article has been received by us, it is not our standard practice to send a proof back to the author prior to publication.

Your cooperation on these points will ensure that your article is included at the first available opportunity and reproduced to the highest possible standard.

If you have any further queries regarding the above, please contact Ian Betteridge.
