Yusen Logistics UK launches direct own consolidation services from UK to China

The new service, which is now up and running, expands YLUK’s existing own direct LCL services, already delivering consolidated shipments via three lanes from Southampton to Kobe, Nagoya and Tokyo in Japan. The new service is a direct response to increasing demands for high-frequency, small-volume transportation – mainly driven by the growth of the automotive parts industry.

The new service is now transporting weekly and provides customers with the regularity and flexibility to move small volumes quickly. By utilising dedicated assets and state-of-the-art tracking technology, the Company can guarantee high levels of service and visibility while direct routing reduces transit time. In addition, with in-depth knowledge of global Customs regulations, YLUK has the expertise to ensure that consignments are processed effectively and without delays.
