As Senior Manager of Technical Sales (EMEA) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Adam Collins leads the regional Technical Sales team for the Digital Science Solutions business, partnering with commercial, product, marketing, and services teams to help customers accelerate their digital transformation. He is responsible for driving technical sales strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, helping organizations implement laboratory informatics solutions, including LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and digital platform technologies.
Throughout his career, Adam has combined his strong scientific foundation with extensive experience in laboratory software and digital transformation. After earning a PhD in genetics, he began his career helping laboratories implement scientific software solutions. Following this, he joined Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he has spent the past five years working with customers to modernize laboratory operations through connected digital technologies. His experience spans technical consulting, solution strategy, pre-sales leadership, and enterprise laboratory informatics, giving him a unique perspective on the intersection of science, technology, and business.
Adam is passionate about helping laboratories unlock the full value of their data by connecting people, instruments, workflows, and information through integrated digital solutions. As laboratories move toward automation and AI-enabled science, his work focuses on enabling organizations to build scalable digital ecosystems that improve operational efficiency, strengthen collaboration, and support more informed scientific decision making.
