Catalent Applied Drug Delivery Institute launches 2nd annual Global Academic Competition for Life Sciences Leaders of Tomorrow

Aim to encourage students…

The Catalent Applied Drug Delivery Institute today announced the launch of the second annual Global Academic Competition for Life Science Leaders of Tomorrow, a program that aims to encourage students’ interest and knowledge of applied drug delivery technologies. The Institute welcomes the participation of university students enrolled in graduate programs related to pharmaceutical science, industrial pharmacy, drug delivery, and drug development.

“The Global Academic Competition reflects the commitment of The Institute to foster education, collaboration, and adoption of drug delivery technologies to develop better treatments for patients,” stated Kurt Nielsen, Ph.D., Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions. “We are pleased that so many prominent schools have already joined the program, and look forward to more joining.”

Participating institutions includes Purdue University, St. John’s University, Rutgers University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Düsseldorf, Germany, and University of Bristol, U.K. Entries from students enrolled at these and other universities are encouraged before the submission deadline on February 22, 2013.
