Don Clark, Analytical Chemist and STEM/SIP ambassador
An Analytical Chemist by training, with over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry specialising in vibrational spectroscopy (infra-red and Raman predominantly). He has a particular interest in FT-IR and Raman microscopy, and is an advocate for mapping and imaging applications linked to product quality, design and performance. Mr Clark’s major activities are in ‘Forensic-like’ investigations / troubleshooting for API, excipients and products supporting manufacturing sites globally. He is involved in a wide range of activities, from applications of solid state analysis related to bios production, to understanding primary packaging materials. He is also active in developing the scientists of the future through his role as STEM/SIP ambassador.
