Telstar’s centre in the UK consolidates its business growth with move to new higher-capacity modern installation

Telstar’s centre in the UK expands production capacity with a move to new premises in Birstall, Leeds, a large modern facility that will enable the company to virtually triple its production capacity and to support an increasing global customer base. The company is relocating from Shaw Cross Business Park, Dewsbury, to new premises on Dark Lane, Birstall, Leeds close to the M62 and M621 motorways.

Telstar’s centre of excellence in the UK has experienced a substantial growth in aseptic and containment Isolator requirements, particularly in respect of aseptic processing and filling line applications, throughout recent years.  The new facility offers a space adapted to the specific conditions and requirements for environmental quality, manufacturing and qualification of equipment for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cell therapy industries. It has a comprehensive production plant for the manufacture of highly complex and demanding Isolator systems, as well as expansive two storey offices, modern meeting rooms, canteen, warehouse and loading bays. The new facility will accommodate technical engineering, customer services and a dedicated sales team and admin support services.
