Case study: Expedite microbial contamination investigations

Risk management is a critical discussion point for pharma companies globally. The risks faced in terms of product quality and commercial practices are increasing in frequency and magnitude. Using real-time bioburden monitoring in a water system can deliver multiple advantages. To demonstrate this, a study was conducted using continuous microbial detection analysers in a purified water loop. The data from the 7000RMS analysers was examined to find the root cause of the periodic high plate counts.
